MOS BURGER — Restaurant in Kowloon

MOS is a budget-friendly Japanese fast-food and burger specialist with a fair number of branches around the city including this G/F place at Mikiki Mall in San Po Kong. Opening hours are 7.30am to 9.30pm daily. They have a tightly fit indoor seating area, similar to their other branches. You can do take-away as well.

Burger and combos are smaller portion size than McDonalds and reasonably priced. They have more creative burger options including a pumpkin patty which tastes pretty good and makes for a nice alternative for vegetarians. This used to be my to go restaurant. However, the quality is getting worse every time I revisit. There is a middle-age lady staff who is trying her best effort to avoid taking orders. One time she pretended to organizing the goods in the room inside the cashier. This time she pretended to clean outside the shop.

Furthermore, it seems to me that the company does not really value this branch that the lights or air conditioning take years to repair....

The softness of the burger is better than its US counterpart. The beef burger is juicy. The fish fillet is also good. Only the potato chip is a bit thick. I especially like the design of the burger holder. Your hands are clean even though the fillings may spill over. Nugget is also delicious and tender. The price is a bit on the high side but it is less crowdy and you can have a comfortable seat exploring the freshness...
