Wolf Den Cafe — Restaurant in Kowloon

A nice gem just around the corner of Mei Foo wet market (near the park close to block 2) Clean environment and comfortable seating, tables are for 2 people so groups may be hard to accommodate. Food is good quality and coffee was small but decent. 3 outdoor tables are available. Vegetarian mushroom burger a bit too watery. They should at least cut off the stem of the Portobello mushroom so that the mushroom has a flat patty-like shape. Plus, the tough stem isn't so tasty. The mushroom was far too watery and made the burger soggy. They should have used more salt when grilling the mushroom to draw out the water. Tomatoes are also watery so my plate was just all water. The self-serve style of this restaurant is not clear enough, so we were sitting there waiting for someone to come to us. Only cash is accepted so i had to go...

Went there for lunch. Whole day breakfast was good, but pricey. The so-called "beef" burger was however pretty terrible. For a 90 hkd burger, I expect it to have at least a decent real beef patty. The burger itself was however one of those factory made low quality patties that contains so much stuff (starch?)...
