Best coffee in Nanjing!

They have everything! From the more common latte and cappuccino, to cold drip and single origin. They even serve piccolo! Their microfoam is perfect and free pour artwork impressive, both of which are rare in China. Pros: Good coffee. Friendly staff, most of who speak English. Great service. Good coffee. Bi-lingual menu. Clean and relaxing environment. Free Wi-Fi. Not overly expensive. Good coffee. Areas for improvement: very limited food menu. Cons: No toilet on site (a short walk around down the road).

부자묘 인근 삼산가에 위치한 수조 콘셉트의 독립 카페. 핸드드립과 스페셜티 커피에 강점을 가졌다고 알려져 있으며 난징 내에만 매장이 몇 곳 있는 걸로 확인되는데 본점은 여기다.

인테리어는 하얗고 연한 톤으로 통일돼 단순하면서도 깔끔하고 미니멀리즘한 분위기를 자아낸다. 물가 싼 중국이라고 해서 가격대는 결코 싸지 않은 편으로 특히 핸드드립이 그렇다.

그래도 핸드드립 커피를 특히 강조하는 만큼 바리스타 분께 취향을 알려드리곤 계절 커피 중 하나를 추천받아 시켰다. 되도록이면 뜨겁게 마시려 했는데 영상 40도라 아이스로 했다.

Ethiopia Elto Mofa Forest Anaerobic Washed, 에티오피아산 원두를 쓴 싱글 오리진 커피다. 함께 내준 설명 카드에 따르면 밝고 과일 향이 풍부하며 깔끔한 맛이 특징이다.

확실히 라이트 로스트 커피라 그런지 여리여리하면서도 생기 넘치는 밝은 귤 향이 특히 인상적이었다. 자두와 복숭아 향도 은은하게 느껴졌는데 강한 건 아니고 산미가 살짝 있었다.

라이트 로스팅이라 맛이 개인적으로는 조금 연하게 느껴지긴 했지만 원두 본연의 향미가 살아 있어 만족스러운 한 잔이었다. 근 며칠간 카페인 특유의 쓴맛만...
