I ordered takeout through Deliveroo, but it was delayed for 40 minutes from the scheduled time. I understand that it was Mother's Day and some extra waiting time might be necessary, but when I inquired about the delay with the manager, I received extremely rude treatment.

The manager stated that the kitchen was already very busy, but if they couldn't complete the order within the specified time, then why did they accept the order through the delivery platform?

Afterward, he ordered the counter staff to stop taking any more delivery orders.

Furthermore, I noticed that he prioritized serving customers who purchased takeout in person, and did not seem to care much about customers who ordered through the platform.

Huge rip off. Everything cost money! For example, the peanuts they set on the table when we sit down. Soy sauce, mustard, hot sauce that we didn't ask for that they just set on the table. They didn't even ask if we wanted it. Bowl of white rice $16HKD (overpriced even compared to NYC). They have a sign in the front saying the abalone chicken congee was $18HKD. We read all the fine prints to see if there's a catch, there were no such fine print. But when we ordered it, it was $30+HKD! Their food is very average and overpriced compared to other local eateries and should not be listed on Time Out Hong Kong as one...
