Even during the ordering phase, the restaurant owner Birol disregarded our friend’s order, gesturing and yelling that he would prepare the menu he wanted. He also had a brief argument with our friend. We realized in the first minute that he was a terrible person. When the food arrived, we witnessed that his cooking skills were as bad as his character. Naturally, our friend objected to this service fee due to the terrible treatment we received. I am thrilled that I tried this restaurant today. I took a work colleague and wanted him to try something new. We both loved this place. The location is near the train station and across the street from one of the Coco Park entrances. It is an adorable setting with lots of fabulous Turkish dishes. What made this place even more special was Ms. Arzu. She made us feel right at home and brought out dishes as soon as they were created by the chef. I felt like I was having a meal at a friend's house back in Turkey. This place has soul in all of its dishes and the service is exceptional. Make sure to leave room for desert.
