My personal favourite indian restaurant in Shenzhen or even can say china. Located in shekou, nanshan. Next to coastal rose garden. The famous sea World is just 100 metres from the restaurant. I don't think there is anyone that doesn't know about masala bites in Shenzhen, the previous name was Ma ma mia. Mr Nik & Adi are very friendly. I know them for 3 years now. The restaurant serves halal food. The first halal place that I tried in Shenzhen. I lived across the road from this restaurant. So I have tried their food a 100 times. It's was good each time. Never had a bad experience. Outside seating is limited still it's good to sit outside and have some sheesha and great indian food with great people. Their buffet is really amazing. They do have outdoor catering services. They take up orders for parties and festivals. It's a must visit place in Shenzhen. The quantity, quality, pricing everything is decent. Their home delivery was great for me. After the delicious meal you could go and have a walk in the sea side harbour walkway, which I do most of the time. Their menu is basically north indian. You can blindly try any dish it won't disappoint you. Look on the black board inside restaurant to have daily specials. They do serve alcohol. I am not sure about the quality of drinks. The nearest metro station is shuiwan exit D. If you have time to walk, get down at sea World metro station and walk towards masala bites, you can make yourself prepared as you are going to eat alot here. Try the cheese naan, my favourite with butter chicken or chicken tikka masala. The restaurant address is shop 110, district 1, nanhai rose gardens, Wang hai road,...
Read moreHave been very generous with a 1 star rating for food. They were only serving buffet which was cold and super spicy. And I am Indian!!
No fault of restaurant but why are Indians such uncouth folks? They had created a total mess at the buffet table. The yogurt spoon was put in the pickle serving dish! Rice was sprayed all over the serving table. And many more uncivilised behaviours.
Service was non existent. Atmosphere was chaotic and disorganised.
