A Delightful Halal-Friendly Experience at Muslim Hotel Restaurant Shenzhen (”Xinjiang Delight”)

Today I had the pleasure of visiting Xinjiang Delight in Shenzhen, and I must say, it was an absolute delight! As a devout Muslim, finding Halal-friendly dining options can sometimes be a challenge, but Xinjiang Delight exceeded my expectations in every way.

Now, let's talk about the food! We started our meal with the vegetable fried rice, and it was bursting with flavors. The combination of fresh vegetables and perfectly cooked rice was a treat for our taste buds. The portion size was generous, ensuring that even the heartiest of appetites would be satisfied.

Next up were the lamb chops, and they were simply divine. Tender and succulent, each bite was a testament to the expertise of the chefs. The seasoning was just right, allowing the natural flavors of the meat to shine through. It's safe to say that these lamb chops were some of the best I've ever had.

This is the restaurant I came to know about when I was in Shenzhen. The restaurant is two storied. From it's name it is quite clear that it serve only Halal food for the Muslims. The restaurant is managed by Chinese people who are probably Muslims. So though it is halal food, it is Chinese food, not Middle Eastern or food from the Indian subcontinent. The restaurant is clean. There were few customers when we took our dinner. The food was good. Specially I was happy to eat rice after so many days. There is both vegetables and non vegetables dish. Rice is served in typical Chinese small bowl. The taste of the rice is different from the subcontinent. It is sticky but good. All the food items were good and tasty. The washroom was clean and the staff were very courteous. The only problem was that they are weak in English. So we had to take the help our interpreter to talk with them. But this is a common condition of Shenzhen. The other problem is no international credit card is usable in the restaurant. So if you are a tourist from another country, you have to use Chinese...

The worst service ever I experienced in China! The people here are arrogant and make faces when telling them the order. They don’t let you peacefully see the menu to order. They stand there stair at you and make you feel uncomfortable. Ordered beef noodles and ended up giving us only two beef pieces with noodles. The waiter is very rude, I called him for ordering more he literally ignored on my face and walked off. Whatever we asked in the menu they say no available. And we are here at 2:00pm time which many restaurants should have the items in...
