Shenzhen Lido Hotel — Hotel in Shenzhen

I recently stayed at the Shenzhen Lido Hotel and had a generally pleasant experience. Located in a convenient area, it's close to the Luohu Commercial City and within easy access to public transportation, making it ideal for shopping or business.

The rooms were spacious and clean, with comfortable beds, and the hotel offered all the basic amenities like Wi-Fi, air conditioning, and a mini-fridge. I was especially pleased with the level of cleanliness, which was consistently good throughout my stay. However, the decor felt a bit dated, and I think the rooms could benefit from a modern refresh.

The staff was courteous and helpful, although some of them had limited English proficiency, which could be challenging for international travelers. Still, they made every effort to assist, especially with directions and recommendations for local spots.

Breakfast was a mix of Western and Chinese options, but the selection could be improved. The dining area was clean and well-maintained, which was nice to see.

As i am indian but there is no indian food avaible so need to improve breakfast service.

Unless you want to hire it for a few hours (you know for what I mean) there are better hotels around the area for the same price. I used to stay here for many years for the convenience and friendly staff. Recently the management stayed and with them some of horrible staff specially in reception. It’s a great location but there’s bad attitude from the customer service disk, this Hotel don’t have air conditioning and on their website clearly says they have air conditioning. However, when I checked in they took 309 RMB deposit and got only 286 deposit back when I checked out, I asked why they said this is our policy, looks to me a scam tbh. I approached the reception.
