Nice and big shopping area. There are many kinds of items from toys to dresses, luggages to beauty stuffs, steertfood, dine in restaurants, and some malls. This area is nit far awat to the electronics center of Shenzhen. You can buy a shopping cart with wheels to carry your purchased items. Negotiation is possible in many local shops. Ali Pay is accepted almost in every where. The only problem I lived was not because of the shops but the DiDi app. It could not locate where I am properly even shiw my location feature was up. Because of this, 2 drivers could not find me since I could not explain them where I was when they called as I could not read any names around me to describe. I tried to get the help of locals for the pick-up location description, but they rejected to help. This stressed me out, especially while my battery was dying and some rude people stopped by with car/ bike and started to ask me direct questions or insisted on taking me where I wanna go🥶 Finally a local family helped me to talk with the 3rd driver so I could leave there. The Didi Driver was also very patient to find pick up location and and was kind for letting me charge my phone during the way. Therefore it is recommended to plan your visit and pick up location to ensure you can placed in Didi correctly, especially it is troublesome when google translate not works or...
Read moreMade a pair of specs at the Spectacles City at real discounted price compared to home prices. Great service and generously giving me extra nose bridges, specs boxes with cleaning cloth. But be super beware of a "foot massage" on ground floor who the 2 "masseuses n lady staff" fleeced us with a RM4500 (US630) bill for an hour massage laced with extracting some "42 eyelets" from our feet at RM100 each!!!! The eyelets are no more than small pieces of skin they carefully cut from our feet. We had to be tough with them and finally called in the local police. Fortunately the police were also shocked with the scam. Finally the supervisor must have severly told them off and we paid RM600 instead. WARNING NEVER EVER GO INTO THIS PARTICULAR SHOP (Sorry didn't take down name or have photo). Bad apple spoilt rest...
Read moreThe life and soul of main city shenzhen filled with cheap shops and multiple food stalls. Although you can find even cheaper food and clothing options in other Chinese cities like zhongshan, it’s still a vibrant part of the city to go to for iconic street foods like caramelised strawberries, ice cream waffles, potato twisted fries etc. you’ll also be hyper stimulated by the amount of music, live sounds and TikTok streamers (sometimes doing the most ridiculous things ever) in every corner of the street plus those obnoxious shopkeepers who will try to lure you in with those annoying handclappers and also random people taking pictures and videos of you if you’re a foreigner hahaha (which is...
