The food was ok but my other terrible experiences left me with no choice but posting a review here.
The base price for all you can eat for 3 hours is 178 HKD. The staff suggested we could have unlimited non-alcohol drinks with an addition of 20 HKD. Turned out we could only choose the canned drinks, you still had to pay extra dollars for drinks like bottle green tea. Staff should’ve told us in advance. I felt like they purposely advertising it to make you pay extra 20 HKD.
The service was horrible. The staff refused to turn on the fan, not even one, to facilitate the ventilation since not enough customer. This reason was a joke, I noticed that another group of people on the other side of the BBQ area with the fan turned on.
After 2 hours of BBQ, the charcoal started to fade away and we couldn’t even grill any food. So we requested the staff to rectify the situation. Once again they refused to add/ replace the charcoal because we only have an hour left. I asked them how could I grill the food with such weak fire, therefore they just shuffled the charcoal a bit which brought the fire back on temporarily, but only half of the grill covered with charcoal. I could only use half of the grill in the last hour.
10 minutes before reaching the 3 hour mark, 2 staffs stood at the back of our table with their cleaning trolley and staring at us. Obviously it is a gesture to drive away the customer. Anyway, we finished with the food and about to leave.
The hygiene of the toilet is horrible.
I am disappointed with their subpar customer service. Definitely not recommend the restaurant to anyone except they want to experience the things I...
Read moreBahia Restaurant Chung King BBQ is a fantastic spot for anyone who loves smoky, flavorful BBQ with a Chongqing twist. Located in Lung Mei Village near Tai Mei Tuk, it’s perfect for weekend gatherings, casual celebrations, or just a fun night out with friends.
The all-you-can-eat BBQ buffet offers a wide variety of meats, seafood, and veggies. Highlights include juicy lamb chops, garlic butter oysters, marinated chicken wings, and sweet grilled pineapple. Everything is fresh and well-seasoned, and the DIY seasoning station lets you customize your skewers just the way you like.
Each table comes with its own charcoal grill, and most items are pre-skewered, making it easy to cook. The open-air setup adds to the laid-back vibe, though it can get really hot during summer. Luckily, Lung Mei Beach is just a short walk away, so you can cool off with a dip before or after your meal.
Drinks are unlimited (including beer and ice-cream!), and the staff are friendly and efficient. There’s even free parking for 4 hours, which is a huge plus in this area.
Overall, a great value for the price (around HK$218–250 per person). Just be sure to book ahead or arrive early, especially on weekends, it’s popular for a reason!
Would definitely come back for the seafood trays and honey-glazed sweet potatoes. Highly recommended for BBQ...
Read moreI had a very bad experience here. I booked a place with a roof as i have a baby and friends with me. When i arrived, the staff said that the place i booked was not available. And she said my baby strolllor blocked the way loudly. She’s so rude. The other staff are rude, too. They refused to open the parasol for us when they placed us outside. We hv waited for half an hour to wait for the parasol to open. When they did it, they kept saying that we’re troublesome. During the whole meal, we saw their staff argued with customers or even themselves fm time to time. I will never go there and even when i get pass that restaurant, i felt angry. The food’s just so so....
