Cafe Ocean Corner — Restaurant in Taipa

Today I was requesting and mentioned that I can't get beef and pork, Once the order is delivered the food is placed on top with bacon, I asked for the order, she said this restaurant is not halal so this decoration is like this. I'm asking again that we mentioned about avoiding pork and beef, it's not possible for this dish, and she returned the plate after removing the bacon, and sent it back again with same dishes, So we're really upset, because this restaurant we've come to many times, the lady I don't know the name so rude, I asked for her Manager she said there's no manager, you can talk to me. So her approach to dealing with her mistakes was terrible.

-She said "If you don't want to pay" These words are too bad to say to your customers, We come to this kind of restaurant means we can afford it. -I don't like the way you respond irresponsibly to your own mistakes. Saying sorry without really feeling guilty. It's a shame that the food tastes so good if there are waiters like this. It ruins the atmosphere. This restaurant serves delicious food, and their weekday set lunches are especially appealing. Great taste combined with good value has always been my impression of this place, and the restaurant’s ambiance is decent as well.

However, the service quality can be hit-or-miss. Some staff are warm and courteous, while others seem unwilling to say much. I didn’t think much of it until one time when my partner and I ordered an unfamiliar dish. The indifferent staff member showed visible confusion but didn’t mention that the portion size was far too large for two people. This led to unnecessary waste.

When I later asked the staff member why he didn’t warn us, he simply replied that he assumed I was a regular who knew the portions well. This kind of assumption is disappointing and could easily have been avoided with a bit more attentiveness.

Even with its steady customer base from Ocean Garden, I still hope this restaurant can step up its game and provide service quality that matches the standard...

Unfortunately, the food was disastrous. My partner and I did not enjoy any of the dishes we ordered (pasta and rice) whatsoever.
