Super sweet food which is unbearable to eat. Maybe the cook used a lot of sugar instead of salt. The fried noodles here is the sweetest noodles I have ever eaten in my life! Just way too much sugar. It was even sweeter than the mango smoothie I ordered. Even the Tom Yum soup noodles we ordered were super sweet. I never had Thai food this sweet anywhere in HK or Thailand. So I am quite disappointed with the food. I didn't feel so good after eating. Besides the food, the restuarant is popular and busy when we got there for weekend lunch. The seating is horrible. We were sitting at a large table with sofa and the sofa had no support at all, after sitting down my chin was literally at the table. The door was unbelievably difficult to open and close so there was constantly banging and the pressure inside the shop kept changing so all our ears were suffering. 🫠 I tried to concentrate on the food, which is ok, but all the environment issues were so distracting and we couldn’t enjoy our meal at all 🥲 The drinks were very disappointing as well, most of the drinks we ordered were tasteless with too much ice. Excellent food and friendly staff. Food was served fresh and very quickly. The restaurant was very busy from the moment it opened, so book in advance, even takeaways were very busy. Only criticism is it would probably be better to have a decent toilet, it was at the back where it seems filthy, it ruins the overall restaurant image.
