東京食堂屯門 Tokyo Shokudo V city Tuen Mun — Restaurant in Tuen Mun District

Decided to come and get a takeaway because I got some work to do and cooking at home wasn't ideal.

The food was alright apart from the pork cutlet being a bit too dry but it might be me nitpicking too much (seems justifiable if I'm paying $130, not even with a drink included?)

Anyway, the service was somewhat on the poor level, my Cantonese aren't that great compared to my English but the senior waiter who was taking my order felt like he had some difficulty speaking to people, what does the title "senior" mean if he doesn't seem like a senior waiter anyway!

The meal was prepared quite fast but it left on a table and the waiter didn't clearly inform me that my order was ready. I didn't want to be a jackass asking if my order was ready or not so I kept standing and standing. Another waitress did ask what my order number was but then walked away right after. Roughly 8-10 minutes later, the waiter finally told me my order was ready. Making me into a huge dumbass not going to lie and I had to eat faster as I have a meeting right after.

Luckily there was no service charge included in the order, I would be completely horrified if it was. Though $130 is a massive bill for a lunch with no drink but soup (I was told I need to pay 20 dollars more for a drink, yeah sure.). Didn't know Central prices is already a thing in Tuen...

To be honest the food wasn't too bad after all. However, my first impression to the restaurant was really put off by the time of waiting for a table. Personally think is okay to wait for a table when is busy time, but I think at least someone should approach the people who been waiting outside the restaurant (it wasn't just us waiting outside) we have no idea if the staff know there are people waiting or not. Anyway, after almost 25 mins waiting we all finally got a table. We used QRcode to order, which we all found what's the point paying service charge when we have to order via QRcode and a robot bring the food to us. Ordered cutlet set with coffee. The cutlet batter is thick and soggy, literally fell off from the pork. The pork is dry, shrimp and oyster are just ok. The coffee is the worst, you cant even smell or taste anything at all. Will definitely not spend more cents in...
