We had an unhappy experience at the Jasmine last Friday. The food was fine and surroundings clean and quiet but the junior manager who took our order was arrogant if not outright rude.
The man seem irritated that we didn't want to learn to use the electronic menu system as we just wanted a simple dimsum lunch. When asked for some vegetarian options for one of our guests he was most unhelpful, even suggesting we should try a vegetarian restaurant instead!

When we ordered it was 10:38 AM so there was a different price display on the online ordering. When we finished eating it was 11:20 AM and we were shocked that the price of the item we ordered jumped from HK $60-80 to HK $120. There’s an app where you can get a waiting ticket, however I suggest going to wait at the restaurant when there’s around 30 numbers before yours as many people just take numbers and don’t show up so the wait is sometimes actually shorter.
