The Platter
Today, I came back from a trip and wanted to eat something relaxing, so we chose this semi-buffet restaurant next to V City. There are many choices in the self-service area here, from salads to desserts, we all like them.
First, is the salad area, we picked some green vegetables and served them with Caesar salad dressing, which was refreshing and appetizing. In addition, there are Sichuan spicy cloud fungus and Korean kimchi, both of which are spicy and sour, which warms up our taste buds.
For cold seafood, there are clams, conch, sea prawns and mussels, all of which are fresh and springy. We also had the cold meat platter, the smoked duck breast was sliced thinly and the meat was tender and juicy.
For skewers, there are cherry tomatoes, Japanese sweet potatoes and chicken skewers, all of which are grilled deliciously.
In terms of soup, there are cauliflower cream soup and pork bone soup, both of which are rich in taste.
For the main course, we chose whole fresh Boston Lobster Meadow and Grilled Australian Grass-fed Ribeye Steak with red wine sauce. Lobster rice is made from a whole lobster, the meat is plump and elastic. The rib eye steak is fried just right, the skin is crispy, the inside is tender and juicy, it is still pink, and the red wine sauce also adds layers.
In terms of desserts, the small desserts include green tea cake, jelly and sweet-scented osmanthus cake, all of which are exquisite and delicious. You can drink fruit juice freely, and sugar water is also provided. Our favorite is the handmade ice cream made in Hong Kong, there are many flavors to choose from. We tried the Okinawa sea salt flavor, which was dark blue in color and very special. The taste is also very fresh and not too sweet.
There are also waffles and toppings of different colors, which are very attractive after being topped with them.
All in all, we were very satisfied with the semi-buffet dinner at The Platter restaurant, with not only a variety of choices, but also high quality. The environment is also very comfortable and spacious, and the waiters are also very friendly and kind. This is definitely a restaurant worth...

Read moreMy husband and I are big fans of buffets. Knowing that Cozi - Platter offers very attractive buffet discounts, we decided to give it a try one evening.
The restaurant is not very spacious yet very cozy and comfortable. They feature an extensive selection of dishes ranging from starters to desserts.
As a seafood lover, I particularly find the seafood platter and sashimi corner alluring. Not only do they offer common seafood like mussels and shrimps, they also provide brown crabs and Boston lobsters, which is absolutely beyond expectations. They have around 7 kinds of sashimi such as scallop, tuna and salmon. They all tasted fresh and scrumptious.
They also provide a wide range of hot dishes. Grilled NZ prime rib eye steak, American pork ribs, grilled fresh oysters, braised fish maw with goose feet, just to name a few.
Putting calorie intake aside, I devoured a few cups of delicious Häagen-Dazs and Mövepick ice-cream, which is another highlight in this buffet experience.
All in all it’s a great deal which...
