處處驚喜的Chef's Cuts
以往到黃金海岸多是為了吃自助餐,但這趟到來因為這兒有間新開的西餐廳,大家或者會問餐廳究竟有什麼特色令我老遠由東涌走來黃金海岸開餐,想知答案那麼便要繼續看下去喔。
這間Chef's Cuts除了是一間西餐廳外還是間食材專門店,內裡提供多種全球進口的優質食材,在餐廳吃到喜歡的食材可以即時到食材專門店購買,便可以帶回家煮給摯愛品嚐實在太窩心。
聖誕節快到餐廳已掛滿了有氣氛的裝飾,我們在平日晚餐時段到來客人不少坐滿了全場內外,大家如看後喜歡想來幫襯記得預早訂位喔!
雖然這麼有氣氛我還是忍忍口不喝酒了,因為要留點Quota待聖誕節用嘛!不喝酒一於轉杯同樣有氣氛Mocktail來嘆,我選了這杯清新透心涼的Apple Mojito$52,從來喜歡薄荷葉的我對Mojito是有點情意結的,這杯加上蘋果的版本味道更加清新可愛。
另外三位好朋友分別選了聖誕節飲品Red、White Mulled Wine聖誕香料熱紅、白酒$50/杯,這個Mulled Wine只在普天同慶的12月份供應。
前菜先上檯的是Grilled Octopus with Romesco, Chorizo, Olives and Potato Bravas、西班牙風味烤八爪魚$135,材料非常豐富而且很惹味我就十分喜歡這個前菜。
內裏分別有軟淋鮮味的八爪魚,另外還有我非常喜歡吃的西班牙辣肉腸,配上橄欖和馬鈴薯成件事真的非常豐富而且好好味。
接下來第二個Appetizer是Crostini Plate、意式牛油果蟹肉及煙三文魚多士$98,紅白相間的多士賣相已經很吸引我了。
我決定將它們二合一把煙三文魚放在蟹肉上,墊底有我最喜歡吃的牛油果醬,伴烘得香脆的多士已經令我吃得非常滿意。
我們點了一客Spiced Tomato Rice, Chorizo, Bell Peppers, Smoked Paprika、招牌海蝦番茄辣肉腸燴飯$178來開心Share。
番茄、辣肉腸和海蝦全部也是我喜歡的食材,伴著香濃惹味帶點微辣的燴飯絕對是我喜歡的菜。
來到這兒不吃扒真的好像沒來過一樣,所以我們四人共點了牛和豬扒各一份來分享。
喜歡吃牛肉的朋友選了House Fat Aged Bone-In Black Angus Rib Eye (650g)、牛脂熟成黑安格斯肉眼扒,香草牛油$398,這個價錢實在抵到我的大眼變成突眼呢!
切開肉眼扒看到那嫣紅粉嫩的肉色和燒烤的香氣已令人為之一振,可惜我跟牛肉沒有緣份未能好好品嚐,但見好友吃得心滿意足的樣子相信質素應該非常不俗。
而我則可品嚐這件Slow Cooked Pork Tomahawk、慢煮黑豚肉斧頭扒,蘋果青醬,酸忌廉薯仔$228。
烹煮得熟到剛好的慢煮黑豚肉吃下肉質淋滑富彈性,富有肉香之餘更十分Juicy,伴上的蘋果青醬令口感徒添清爽,伴碟的酸忌廉薯仔煮得非常軟糯和香口我也吃了不少呢。
吃罷豐富晚餐後我們點了三份甜品來共嚐,估不到這兒的甜品竟然那麼有質素真心驚喜,而且價位更是非常非常親民甜魔們別錯過啊。
先品嚐這個超豐富的Strawberry Eton Mess with Vanilla Gelato, Honeycomb, Crispy Yogurt、士多啤梨甜蛋白脆,雲呢拿意大利雪糕,蜂巢糖脆$58,光看食材這麼豐富也只是買這價錢實在太優惠了吧!
有新鮮的士多啤梨配上我喜歡的蛋白脆脆和蜂巢脆糖,加上香滑的雲呢拿雪糕口感勁豐富,味道甜而不膩所以得到大家的高度讚賞。
接力這一份是Salted Caramel Chocolate Mousse、海鹽焦糖朱古力慕絲,糖脆花生,白朱古力泡沫$68。
如果喜歡花生的味道這個您必定會喜歡,海鹽焦糖朱古力鹹鹹甜甜非常吸引,伴碟還有脆卜卜的花生和像雲朵般的白朱古力泡沫,令成件甜品增添不少魅力。

Read moreGreat food for great value, if not a bit pricey. Steak was seared to a perfect Medium Rare and fries were crispy and hot, yet fluffy on the inside. The steak itself did contain small amounts of tendon, but that is negligible when put with the taste.
The Carbonara was creamy, with a rich and velvety yet not congealing sauce and linguine cooked to a perfect al dente. Kudos to the chef for being so careful with handling the food!
On the other hand, the restaurant is slightly on the small side and service was not prompt, although the staff were nice and kind....

Started with leek and potato soup was hearty and filling, appetiser cold cuts platter with fresh ingredients and generous portion, main had the slow cooked pork tomahawk was nicely done and really tasty. And the pasta dish wagyu beef ragout with hand rolled pasta was super yummy. Me and my friends enjoyed everything very much. The best restaurant experience at the GC piazza so far. Keep it up...
