Quite a spacious Chinese seafood restaurant, can't describe as luxurious, perhaps I can only identify it as a place for all Hong Kong seafood pilgrimages (in fact a majority of them are mainlander Chinese) who are craved for sea products where this is an ideal place for them to share their taste bud on lobsters, various type of deepwater marine fish, scallops, shrimps, crabs, razor clams....etc.,The main difference to compare with other seafood restaurants in urban areas (cause the restaurant is located in Tuen Mun area) is all you have to do is to buy all your ingredients from those fresh marine products retail shops/outlets where those hawkers are enthusiastic to introduce you to their finest species base on a very hassle and bustle pattern. Well, it all depends on what you expect their services to be. After finishing all your buying process, simply just bring along all your trophies to the restaurant and those waiters will pick it up for you and start cooking inside their kitchen until they served up the dish. Read moreTuen Mun is one of the few special places for seafood in Hong Hong. Hoi Tin Garden restaurant is by the entrance of the complex right next to the car park. To get a parking space you need to arrive quite early (by 7:30). The restaurant is very big and well air conditioned (bring a top as it can get cold).
The restaurants in this area sell normal dishes just like a normal restaurant but for seafood you wonder around the fish stalls outside to buy what you like and take it back to the restaurant for them to cook it for you and they charge you for the preparation and cooking of it. We like Hoi Tin because everything is always nicely cooked and flavoursome. We have tried other restaurants but they have not been as good. It seems a waste to get fresh and expensive seafood only for it to be cooked badly.
The restaurant gets very busy. It can be interpreted as having a good atmosphere but effectively quite noisy. Service is ok, but being so busy you cannot expect much.
If you like seafood and that is the priority, I would highly...

Would highly recommend food their char-siu and roast goose. The meat is very juicy and tender, and the quality has been quite consistent over the years.
Good pricing for their food and additional cooking cost for seafood (you buy from the nearby fish sellers).
