I went here on a recommendation from the flight attendant. I was really looking forward to a great dinner because steak seems to be their specialty. I was equally disappointed. I ordered the lomo and it was terrible. It was not soft at all. I ordered this because I asked the server to give me their best type of meat available and the softest meat they had. The meat was very tough to chew on. Also, the chimichurri was horrible with no taste whatsoever like chimichurri should be. The Caesar salad was also terrible as it had way too much dressing.

However, the server was very kind, professional, extremely polite, and excellent. It was a young lady with glasses. I forgot her name, but her service was great.

I was very disappointed by this experience and will not be coming back here ever again.

Oh and yes, I highly recommend you ask for your bill as soon as you order that way you're not waiting on it because they do take a little bit of time to pass you your bill.

I live in Miami where they just opened up this restaurant there and I'm hoping maybe the quality is different at the Miami location I will be visiting it...

Exceptional Service at Andrés Plaza de Reyes – El Dorado Airport, Bogotá

I had an outstanding experience at Andrés Plaza de Reyes inside El Dorado Airport. With a flight scheduled at 2:00 p.m., we walked into the restaurant at 1:00 p.m. feeling unsure if we’d have enough time. But the staff welcomed us with a relaxed smile and said, “Don’t worry, come.” And they meant it.

Within 10 minutes, our food was already served—before we even placed the full order! We added tostones with sauce on the spot, and they brought it within a minute. Truly impressive speed and attentiveness.

I ordered the tenderloin grill, and it was simply amazing. Flavorful, juicy, perfectly cooked. The service was top-tier, and the meal was absolutely worth it.

As my son put it: “They deserve 100 stars!” – and I couldn’t agree more.

Highly recommended if you’re traveling through Bogotá or visiting any Andrés Carne de Res location in Colombia. Great food, lightning-fast service, and friendly vibes all around.
