Crepes & Waffles El Dorado Airport — Restaurant in Bogota, Capital District

I arrived early this morning at El Dorado Airport and decided to go to Crepes & Waffles while I waited. When I walked in, the lady at the front desk was busy with a bill, so I asked her where I could sit. She told me I could sit wherever I wanted. I chose a table, but then I was asked to move because they were cleaning that area. I told the staff member that I had asked first precisely to avoid that kind of situation. She then told me to sit on the main floor instead.

Again, I chose another table, but before I could even sit down, they told me no. At that point, I got upset, and only then did they finally assign me a table. From that moment on, the service was poor — it seemed like they were annoyed that I only ordered drinks. I am a bariatric patient, and as much as I wanted to have a crepe at midnight, I simply couldn’t.

🥘: 9/10. First meal ever in Colombia! IT WAS AMAZING and I cannot say how good the food is! We ordered a lot like roast beef crepe, chicken crepe, 3 soups and a bonda de cholate crepe! The chicken chipotle crepe that was on top of the world! The corn, tomato, sauce, chicken and the crepe all blend really well together and it was amazing how good it taste! I'm a big fan of this chain. Food is tasty, varied and affordable. The airport store is a bit busy, and you may have to lineup before being taken to your table. Service is a bit slow too.

I am always choosing the Daily Menu, since it includes both a main dish and a dessert for a nice price.

This time the crepe was a chicken crepe in Salsa Verde. It was not spicy, and the amount of sauce was ideal for the size of the dish.

We also ordered an encocada of sea food. Both the sauce and the shrimp were marvelous.

But the highlight of the meal was the dessert: an ice cream cup 🍨 with chocolate, coffee and almond flavors. I'm not a big fan of these flavors, but I finished it with gusto since it was SO GOOD.

The beverages are also tasty, and it's also nice that you can ask them to prepare them...
