I was really looking for a traditional American breakfast so I thought this place would be good. I ordered the waffles with eggs and bacon. The waffle came with slice cheese on top of waffles and then scrambled eggs on top of the cheese. I was looking for the bacon and don’t see it so I asked for my bacon. I started eating and realized the waffle was made of cornmeal with pieces of corn inside, it basically tasted like an arepa. So this might look like a waffle but the taste was completely different, not what I was hoping for. Of course I ate it bus it was my first meal of the day at 1:30pm. I realized that the bacon was in small pieces and cooked into the waffle. Why? The place is beautiful, very colorful however there was quite a bit of mosquitos due to open doors and the back garden. They do provide bug spray so that helped. The waitress took a few minutes to come over so I called her over. After getting my order I had to ask for syrup which is honey. I thought it was universal that waffles come with syrup. Over all it is a great place but just know it isn’t a traditional waffle breakfast. Who knows, maybe they have it but you have to ask for regular waffles not corn...
