Amazing staff, so warm and friendly. Unfortunately the food wasn't great. Pizza was small dought and disproportionate cheese to tomato, I don't think they have a pizza oven despite pizza being the main food on their menu. Salad was okay but drowned in vingerette and I just expect something a bit more thoughtful from a restaurant salad. Wine was very bad, maybe sour/oxidised.
We came on a night when there was live music thinking it would be nice to listen to whilst eating. Maybe it's a cultural thing but there was an additional 8000 charge per person for this and I found that weird. In the UK, restaurants put on live music free to attract more people to eat there. Why do I pay more when I'm already buying a meal and wine?
The musician/singer was great. The room was too large because there was only us and three other couples in there. The atmosphere was a bit weird because it was like we were watching him in an almost empty restaurant rather than enjoying our food whilst the music was playing.
All in all though I had a very fun time but I wouldn't come back again. Hopefully they can improve the...
Read moreNaturalia, to me, is Laureles’ version of Verdeo in Poblado (or vice versa). Just like Verdeo, the dishes are original, varied, and healthy and the interior is spacious and comfortable (though Verdeo is brighter). What places Naturalia higher in my personal ranking is that their menu del dia is a few thousand pesos cheaper.
All the food on the main plate pictured here was tastier than it looked, and I mean that as a compliment. For example, the “muffin” looks kind of dry but in reality is was moist and almost juicy. Kim, who’s in Laureles a couple days a week to lead her group workouts, said she’ll be back for sure.
Final Score: 8.5 (8 Value, 9 Quality)

Read moreAn interesting place that's multi-functional, almost like a community center with how many different people it pulls in at various times. Very prompt and kind service. The thing I don't love is that I've been a couple times and it's always too noisy... if you have to concentrate on your Spanish like me, it can be hard to converse with anyone. This past time I went, there was some big group doing arts and crafts and literally banging on the table with a hammer off and on for an hour. Groups talking really loudly or music being too loud is one thing, but I literally can't imagine anyone wants to sit in a cafe with hammering going on. I just took my drink to-go and...
