We tried the Bandeja Paisa today—our first time having Colombian food! The dish was interesting and very tasty, though the fried meat wasn’t quite to our liking (but taste is subjective, of course).

Unfortunately, the service left much to be desired. While we understand tipping customs vary by country, automatically adding a 10% tip without asking—especially when the service didn’t meet expectations—felt more like an unwelcome extra charge than a gratuity. Simple things like napkins weren’t provided until we asked.

The bigger issue was the lack of transparency with the bill. When paying, the server rushed through the total, almost hiding the breakdown, and when questioned, he quickly flashed the receipt without letting us check properly. After payment, he only gave us a partial receipt (just the total, no details), which felt untrustworthy.

We’re happy to tip for good service (even though it’s not customary in NZ), but imposing it upfront while providing subpar service doesn’t feel right. Hopefully, this feedback helps improve the experience for...

STAY AWAY. I wish I could give this place a zero star. The first time I went to this restaurant my friend and I waited over 1.5 hours to get out food and my drink, which almost never came.

On January 1st 2with limited food options, I decided to give them another chance. The 2nd time was worst. I was by myself and ordered a simple meal with an appetizer. The appetizer came about 30 minutes and the food never made it to my table after more than 1.5 hours, approaching 2 hours. I decided to just leave and pay for the app and drink; to my surprise when I received the bill it had the main course that never made it to my table.

This place is disorganized, terrible services, and average or less tasting food.

Do yourself a favor and AVOID AT ALL COST. Even if I were receiving a free meal I would not go to this place ever again. I’ve been to over 27 countries and this is the worst eating experience I’ve had.

I would like to give it a "0" however, Google doesn't allow me. I went here for New Year's, thinking I was going to love it because of the reviews. I brought my family from the states and spoke to someone about my reservations. They were very accommodating, until I arrived. From the person at the front to the blondheaded manager, they were very unprofessional, unorganized and lacked knowledge on how to prepare food. I ordered churrasco which arrived raw, and my fries cold. I sent my food back twice and everytime it arrived cold. I ordered chicken nuggets for my child, and they arrived 2hrs later.
