Although I’m from Colombia I never had the opportunity to be in this area of my country. To start this is a beautiful and colorful town in the middle of the coffe area in Colombia. Sadly it was raining the day we went. All the people I got in contact with were very friendly and helpful.

This restaurant is located about 2 blocks from the main plaza - it’s worth the short walk. The restaurant is amazing in all its ways. I live in Las Vegas where you can find extremely high end places and this José Fernando wouldn’t disappoint in my city. They were careful with Covid protocols. The decor is exquisite OMG all the walls have such a beautiful flowers (maybe hand painting) around. The small patio in the middle of the restaurant is gorgeous and give a fresh feeling because the mix of plants and flowers is amazing! Food was delicious, good quality, the presentation on the high end side. The prices very affordable considering the quality, taste and presentation. The service was good. In my recent trip to Colombia, this was the ONLY place that I have left a negative review! The place looks beautiful, but unfortunately service by the person who greats you at the door was TERRIBLE, We visited on a Thursday, only 3 tables were with patrons, meaning it was slow at the restaurant, and the guy was rushing us to choose a table, when I replied that the place was very nice and we wanted to make sure we picked a nice table he was very rude. We took one of the tables, and because of his attitude, we decided to leave. And to make things worse, the same person as we were leaving asked why we decided to leave, and my wife replied that there were only 2 vegetarian options, and his reply was " Well I can cut grass for you"!
