We’ve been travelling around Colombia for 2 weeks and can honestly say this is the first bad meal we’ve had! It was also the most expensive - a bad combination.

We went to this restaurant because it was very well reviewed - however, the talented chef that earned all those great reviews has clearly moved on as whoever is in the kitchen now burnt the rice with the chicken curry (pictured). You would assume a professional cook could make rice without burning it but even if the rice was burned (mistakes do happen after all) to have the gall to actually serve burnt rice to a paying customer is shocking. The curry itself was bland and watery, not recommended at all.

The beef tenderloin was tasty in fairness, and the pumpkin rice was delicious. However, it’s hard to give credit when the portion advertised on the menu differs so much to the actual portion served (see photos). Calling it false advertising wouldn’t be unfair!

We mentioned this to the waitress when she asked us how everything was - nothing was done but she did manage to add the 10% tip on to the bill.

All in all, this restaurant appears to have taken a sizeable dip in quality to the extent it is now massively overpriced. The view over the bay and the décor are nice at least. Would avoid if you are in Taganga, there are other restaurants where you’ll get a nice meal without...

Veeeeery delicious food for a good price in a lovely setting.

We have been twice in our four day stay. Once we had the 3 course and once we went back for the lomo fino. The offering of the house is a warm bread with babaganoush or humus - both were very nice. With the menu we had the pumpkin soup and the falafel. Both starters were tasty and nicely presented. For the main we had the lomo fino. Cooked to perfection and very tender. The puddings (we already struggled 😉) were also delicious. Patrick (owner) is Dutch and is a very attentive and friendly host. All meals are good value for the quality you get and we would return any time. The location you hardly can’t beat - in a traditional bamboo house on top of a building overlooking Taganga beach. You have to climb up stairs so for people with walking difficulties it might not...

I have no idea how this place is as highly rated as it is. Possibly some of the worst food I've ever ate . I started with the falafel and hummus, the falafel was ridiculously salty with not much other flavour or spice to speak of not to mention the portion size to price ratio was incredibly off with only 3 small fallafels for 25,000 and much more hummus then could be possibly ate with such little food to use to dip. I followed with the steak with mashed potatoes and vegtables with blue cheese, equally as bad. Steak was tough and unseasoned not even salt (guess they used it all for the fallafel). The mashed potatoes were equally unseasoned and the vegetables also flavorless. Avoid this restaurant at all costs the only upside and reason I'm not giving one star was the waiters...

We visited this restaurant mid November because we were looking a place for my parents to renew their vows. Unfortunately (or fortunately) our initial plans had to change and we were left without a venue where to do the ceremony. In a pinch Andres (manager) accommodated us and offered the third story in the restaurant that we could have for ourselves. Food was amazing, fresh, variety of choices and decently priced. Fiorela was our server and she was fantastic. We celebrated as a family my parents 40th wedding anniversary and vow renewal. Our family pictures were beautiful! This restaurant has an amazing view to Taganga. I hope to come back some other time.
