When we arrived there there were two table outside available but the server wanted to put us inside, in a cubicle close to the kitchen. We insisted we'd prefer to sit outside, she was very rude letting us know that the table was for for people and as we were two she'd prefer to have it for a group, mind all tables are at least for for people. We finally set outside, she never gave us the menu we had to ask someone from the kitchen. No one come to get our order and when we told the waitress next table we were ready to order she said she was busy when we could see literally she was chatting with our server and eating behind the counter. Before we even finished ordering she took the menu from us ans started leaving we had to call her back to finish our order. The whole time we felt we were bothering those two waitress just by being there. We a Ordered 3 types of ceviche, 2 beers and a drink we did not ask for any special accommodations that could make their life harder. We speak fluently Spanish so there was no miscommunication. The food didn't take too long and was good. But not good enough to endure the horrible...
Read moreThis was an incredible meal. Everything was so fresh and delicious. I had a passion fruit juice (AMAZING) and the “ceviche tico” ( also AMAZING). I had the medium size, medium spicy with mahi and shrimp and it was so good. They serve it with fried plantains which was the perfect accompaniment. It was so fresh and delicious and just a refreshing meal in general. I thought the portion was a good value. Sure you can have less expensive food, but I doubt it would be nearly as enjoyable. The service was excellent, super friendly and I discovered that it is tico owned and employed, which i like to support. It was very clean and they were playing good music. I’m going again tomorrow for the poké bowl and have to return for the ceviche at least one more time. I never leave reviews, but I loved it so much , I had to😊 I also really want to try their whole...
Read moreThe owner was kind enough to take the fish we caught that day and specially make us several dishes. Hands down, top 5 meals I’ve ever had in my LIFE! I’ve been in the restaurant industry since I was 15 and travelled the world eating anywhere from cracker-box 5 seater sushi places down dark alleys in Tokyo, to Michelin Stars in Paris. I’m insanely impressed. We ate every last morsel leaving “overly content”. The service was also something of an experience. Santa Teresa is super laid back, but slow and not always very attentive- the guys here were awesome! Food came out quickly and presented beautifully. The margaritas we had were perfect too, he listened when I asked him to not make it sweet. Can tell everything is 100% fresh, made with pride and love. Definitely going back...
