I traveled all the way from Cartago by taxi to find the establishment closed at around 2:30 p.m. (not after 7:00 p.m. stipulated by Costa Rican Government) on Wednesday, January 6, 2021. Do not visit this place without first calling to verify it is open. There was someone on premises stating that they would be open again sometime later in January 2021, but there was no signage on premises to give customers any information. We started with the calamari that was tougher than a tire, and I almost mean it in a literal way. Figured the mains couldn’t be worse, had the filet with mashed potatoes and my friend had the sea bass, the fish was DRY to the point of cracking before even touching it, my steak while cooked temp wise correctly, had a weird smell, I had about 2 bites and my nose and stomach realized something was wrong.
