Chubbs Bar — Restaurant in Carmen

I came here to watch the Champions League Final and although were busy, they accommodated me straight away and gave me a spot at the bar. There are TVs everywhere, so doesn't matter where you sit, you'll have a good view. The atmosphere and service was great and good vibes all around. I returned again on a Sunday as I was bored and a lot of places were closed or closing early, they stay open until 2am. I had some food this time and went for the beef sandwich, which was great and the fries were some of the best I had! (Personal opinion) again, good service, but it wasn't busy. Will definitely go back on my return to SJ...

Came to see a Bundesliga soccer match. (I was not the only one who showed up for the game.) They could not find it on their very small channel menu. Evidently, they haven’t yet heard of this popular new invention called the internet. Its all the rage in the states. Additionally I read below that the waitresses here flirted with someone’s boyfriend and were not wearing appropriate clothes. Unfortunately it did not live up to the hype on that account either....

They have a lot of TVs but they aren't in high definition, the bacon pulled pork sandwich was good but the hot chocolate was sickening sweet and didn't quite taste like chocolate. The bar was nice, the prices were OK in 2023 for San Jose but higher than a sports bar in Escalante I go to, which had more attractive interior design and better food, but in 2024 I feel the food and cocktail quality definitely don't justify the even...
