The place was really beautiful when you drive onto the premises. Our waiter Indalecio made sure to accommodate us in a cooler or warmer room. He was very knowledgeable, accommodating and personable. We were going to order many appetizers and meals however he suggested we only order a one appetizer and meals. Instead we went with three appetizers. The tabla de gallo, patacones and chiccharon de pollo (don't remember the actual name). The tabla de gallo was six corn tacos with one puree that could have been sweet potato, another was onion and a green beans and carrots. It was different and delicious. The patacones was a shredded pork (stew like), about 8 large tostones, pico's de gallo, guacamole, and beans. The chiccharon de pollo appetizer had chicken chiccharon, fried pork (seasoned really well-lit of flavor), it had yucca (cassaba), pico de gallo with a cilantro lime cabbage. At this point we didn't have spacr for a meal. The waiter didn't even order it because he knew it would be a lot. The chef was amazing and came out to greet us because we were foodies. We then went with dessert. The dessert was even better than the appetizers. We had a 4 small platter dessert. The dessert came with tres leche, flan, rice pudding and corn cake. Can't explain how delicious and interesting these desserts were. Im hispanic and they were better than anything I've ever had. I would totally recommend this place. We only paid $60 for all of that food. It was truly the best food we had in Costa Rica hands down. Indalecio even took us some great pictures at the end of the night. We also had virgin piña coladas.

It's a beautiful area to sit in and enjoy the view. I tried a few breakfasts. Some of the waitresses and waiters are very friendly. But, one guy, whose name is... Didn't have a good attitude at all. He charged us more than the correct amount when my wife asked him to fix it. He got mad. I saw he had a problem with our next table too. I also, need to add another comment for the night we went there for dinner. She came to take our order we told her our order. Then she brought some paper activities for the kids. We asked her some pencil or some that kids can do something with the paper that she gave to the kids. She said ok. Then she disappears and never comes back. The food came so long, more than 40 minutes. One of my older sons slept on the couch at the table. and my younger son did seat anything because it was too so long and he fell asleep. We we started our food, my wife showed me a cricket in the glass of my water. It was very interesting, it makes a noise a little bit and start moving. I understand that restaurants on the outside might possibly happen something like that. We didn't have a problem with that. I just want to share with others. Generally, be prepared for 40 minutes waiting for food.

It’s a nice restaurant at the Marriott resort. We had dinner and breakfast. The boneless chicken with veggies was delicious. The breakfast is good and diverse. Service is great. Thank you Andres. I just wish the tongs of the items were better handled. They are cross used from pork and cheese. Don’t come at 9:30 am, it was so busy. Good overall. Nice seating area. Coffee is good. I loved the service the most, they make you feel welcomed. It is about $35 per person.

Staying here in Jaco and decided to go out for a nice dinner with family and friends. Went online and made a reservation for the 6 of us to have dinner at 7pm on a Wednesday night. Got to the website and confirmed a table for 6 at 7pm received a google confirmation. We ordered a taxi spent 20 dollars to get from our Condo down on Jaco Beach over the the Marriott. Big disappointment when we arrived and found the Hacienda Kitchen closed. We were directed over to the Steak House instead, another disappointment. Overpriced and under whelming to say the least. As a Marriott Elite member I had much higher expectations. We could have stayed much closer to our condo, spent no money on a taxi there and back $40, and enjoyed a much more reasonably priced meal. If you aren't open don't allow someone to make a reservation and send them a confirmation. Marriott standards are usually much higher than this. Call and speak to a live person before wasting your time...
