My three friends and I were blown away we walked. I knew what to expect. I’ve seen Aaron now but not a restaurant like this the wonderful and beautiful Hostess might be the owner status near a window. It was easy accomplished huge windows, but my friends insisted on going to a place to have ice cold beer. We all started out with a mug of ice cold beer and they said it was frosty. We had another beer and the hostess eventually walked over. She didn’t wanna rush us and we were certainly in no hurry, looking at the stars , and an active volcano we just could’ve sat there all night, but we were getting hungry. The owner or Hostess, where they talked about the ceviche which I had never had, but my other friends had and it was fantastic. My mouth is watering if I think about that while writing this. We order a pizza to share for the whole table while we looked at the menu two of us got the bath, which really was unforgettable one of the greatest meals and half the price of an American meal or any restaurant in the area for this kind of food. One gal had the pasta dish which she would not share because it was too good. I thought it was kind of mean, but my friend Girl got this ribeye steak at this authentic fusion restaurant. I thought it was silly, but everybody could not stop asking for a bite to try for. Finally we ordered another ribeye for the table to Share. We ordered more beers because they went down easily because they were so ice cold and watched the volcano if it looked like it was going to erupt. You cannot miss this place and say you’ve been to Costa Rica because if you don’t see the volcano from this restaurant and enjoy a nice cold beer and a great dinner I don’t think you’ve been to Costa Rica. I am not blowing smoke. OK maybe I kind of had a little thing for the Hostess, but the food really bit whooped my mind. I can’t wait to get back there just for dinners and my friends ate a ribeye two days later at another place and it didn’t compare to the melting meat in your mouth. I hope people don’t go so I never have to...
Read moreI visited the Jungle Love Lounge recently on a Sunday afternoon, and was instantly impressed with the comfortable, friendly, relaxed atmosphere of the place. I was cordially greeted by Kelli, the owner, who made me feel welcome in a relaxed, artfully designed setting. I decided to try the corvina ceviche, and am glad to say it was the most deliciouly flavorful ceviche I have ever had. The generously healthy bowl of corvina with mango and citrus was expertly prepared and served with perfectly crisp plantain strips of the highest quality. My dessert was a homemade chocolate cake (made with Costa Rican cacao) served warm with melted chocolate topping and a scoop of vanilla ice cream. My tastebuds were delighted! Much attention to details was evident in the preparation of every item. At a nearby table patrons were served platters of ribs that looked amazing. They said the ribs were excellent, and I plan to return again soon to enjoy the ribs. The Jungle Love Lounge is a wonderful place to enjoy quality cuisine in a comfortable setting with a magnificent view of the lake and volcano. The overall experience has me looking forward to...
Read moreJust left Jungle Love Lounge, and wow, what an experience! The ambiance alone - think lush plants and ambient jungle sounds - sets you up for an unforgettable meal.
The rib eye was the star of the show for me, grilled to perfection, with flavors that just pop. And the sea bass? Perfectly cooked, light, and paired with the freshest salsa.
Their wine selection? Surprisingly on point, with bottles that complemented our meal beautifully. And let's not overlook the martinis - they're not just drinks, they're an experience, especially when you're sipping on something like their mango martini in this setting.
The staff here really know how to make you feel welcome. They're all about enhancing your experience without making it all about the service.
In short, Jungle Love Lounge isn't just a meal; it's an escape. If you're looking for good food in a cool, unique environment, this...
