Valeria B. is an amazing hostess and each of the 5 stars is for her! Valeria B.’s customer service and diligence is amazing, especially for an airport setting.

My husband ordered the double cheeseburger. Upon receipt, he inspected the burger and noticed it has bacon on it. The description nor picture doesn’t inform clients that it includes bacon. He has doesn’t eat bacon.

Valeria B. served as the mediator between us and the kitchen staff. She was relentless in ensuring the order was corrected with fidelity. It took several instances before the kitchen staff got it right; but Valeria B never wavered.

Valeria B. was consistent in her approach with other guests. You can’t help but notice how she assisted clients at the kiosk, explained combo meals are unavailable via the kiosk, refilled the ice machine, tended to tables, answered questions, and maintained a positive disposition.

The BEST gallopinto (Tico’s breakfast) I’ve ever had. I’ve been to many luxury resorts in Costa Rica and was always underwhelmed with the gallopinto. I grew up with a Costa Rican family and was spoiled with authentic Gallopinto. At the airport, my husband and I spotted this restaurant and had no expectations of a great meal. After our first bite , we both said “Wow.” The flavors of the gallopinto were just right and the rice was cooked perfectly. The cooks were local women and you can tell they put their heart into the food they cooked. Our waitress was Maribel and was genuinely excited to hear how delighted we were. This place looked promising. However the menu online is not the same as what you get and should be updated immediately. I ordered a Caesar salad and the menu stated it came with romain lettuce, croutons, bacon, and Parmesan. The salad that they brought out had bacon, tomatoes, onions, and a hard boiled egg. When I asked the server to change my order he replied that they are too busy. It is a busy airport and they should have adequate staffing to be able to accommodate a full restaurant. The staff was amazing and very kind but spent the entire two hours that we were there literally running around trying to serve everyone. The staff were clearly over worked.
