Meztli Coffee House — Restaurant in Liberia

As you can imagine this being close to the airport we thought this would be expensive food with very small portions.

But, you couldn’t imagine what would happen when we walked into the door. You are hit will a strong scene of familiarity as each employee welcomes you in. We were seated and served cold water. We were very hesitant to order since it was a first time there we looked and studied the menu, it took us a while to decide because even though there were no pictures it all sounded amazing, along with the vegan selections. And I am not vegan.

We decided to order a Caesar wrap an a la Cheva. I couldn’t believe the food was actually hot in Temperature. Guess what they made it fresh and served it when it was done along with my friends food. Not use to hot food in a restaurant’s cold cause they just let it sit there.

My fresh hot Caesar wrap was served with seasoned hot cooked French fry wedges, OMG with just the right seasoning, I was afraid to use katchup cause I didn’t want to take away from the flavoring.

It was such a large serving I shared my fries with my friend and took back a little over half the wrap for a later night snack. And even then it didn’t lose any of its flavor when I ate it 4 hours later.

Not only would say that is amazing. And I am a cook and love spice and flavor. I would not change a thing with this amazing chicken wrap, with its fresh and so one crunchy ingredients

Nice looking cafe, free wifi and good A/C. Clean bathroom. I got an Americano and a chocolate croissant. The croissant was okay, slightly warmed, which was nice of them to do. The Americano unfortunately had too much water for the amount of espresso used and so tasted watery, this despite being what was said to be a double shot in an 8oz cup. It was nice and hot, but very watery (first image). I brought it to their attention and they re-made it for me, properly. I could taste the espresso on my tongue vs. weak coffee flavouring with the second Americano. It was nice and hot, fairly clean, but some lingering aftertaste, mild to moderate acidity, a hint of sweetness and caramel in the aroma, a hint of fruitiness (grapefruit/ citrus?) in the notes.
