Los Juanchos Pizzería (Liberia) — Restaurant in Liberia

My partner and I were passing through on our way to the Liberia airport. He had eaten here last time he was in town and couldn't stop raving about it. How it wasn't just one of the best pizzas by far that he's had in Costa Rica, but that it was one of the best pizzas he's ever had PERIOD.

So I clearly had to try it. And by god, he was NOT exaggerating. At all.

We had the supreme and the burrata pizzas. The flavors? Incredible. The crust? Top notch and baked to perfection in their woodfire pizza oven. These folks at Los Juanchos know their pizza, and it will be hard NOT to stop here any time...

So glad we were told about this place - best pizza in town! Dough is hand-tossed and chewy, ingredients are fresh and delicious, menu has good variety (strongly recommend La Mexicana and La Bianca), and the sangria is cold and tasty. The best pizza I've had in Central America hands down, in fact one of the best pizzas I've ever had anywhere! Really good amount of cheese, delicious sauce and the crust is perfect. The fresh basil really finishes it off as well. The small was super filling because of all the cheese, could probably have fed two people really! Nice chill vibes there, available to eat in or takeaway....
