When we arrived we were a little sceptical since nobody else was having dinner but we were early at around 5pm. They had neatly written daily specials on the board and we went with a standard tuna tartar. It came with mango, avocado and grated carrots in a soy-garlic sauce and was very delicious. It was the best one we had so far in Costa Rica. The main dish was mahi mahi mediterranean style, which was a fish covered with tomato base with a large shrimp and a few clamps with 2 sides of choice. It was really tasty and the sauce prevented mahi mahi from being too dry. The other dish was grilled mahi mahi with shrimp skewers in a wasabi sauce. It was also very delicious. All pieces of the dish including the cooked veggies were freshly prepared and still hot when served. They had mango margarita on the menu but I decided against it as it would have been served in a whiskey glass. Not sure why but this is the second restaurant lately that does it. I know it's the same taste but you taste...

I didn’t get a chance to take a picture of the food but it was DELICIOUS! We went here for one of our fancy date nights. I enjoyed the mahi mahi with an avocado sauce. I wanted to lick my plate it was so delicious! We even went all out and ordered a brownie with coconut ice cream (we special ordered it to be coconut). I wanted it to be an endless bowl of desert! I highly recommend.

make sure you take a trip to the bano to check out the unique sinks (this was the only thing I managed to take a picture of 😂)

They looked like they could easily accommodate large groups too.

It’s easy to get to walking even at night. (Though I suggest bringing a flash light if you have one to make sure you don’t trip on a pot hole. We made it with out one but would note to have...

We visited 4/6/24 while the area was in the middle of a drought. Business was slow. Which left us mostly alone in the whole restaurant. We sat outside while it was still 80 degrees outside. It was fabulous. Our server was more bilingual than us which helped clarify a few things on the menu and ask for more mostaza-maiz dressing which is not on the menu but is the best salad dressing you’ll ever have (ask for it on your side salad that comes with most meals) The mahi mahi y Camerones con salsa de aguacate was sooo sooo good. And while casado is a pretty standard rice dish, their version blows everyone else out of the water. And the brownie with coconut ice cream for the...

Hands down the best restaurant in all nosara. 7 years strong of it being our family’s reigning champ. Gracias a ti por tantas comidas riquísimo y recuerdos increíbles. If you haven’t visited here you need to. The sopa de mariscos is my favorite. The teriyaki wings are surprisingly delicious. The blackened fish salad and all their salads are beautiful. The passion fruit mojitos are some of the best. Try the tempura banana and coconut ice cream if you can save enough room.
