If you come here as a young woman beware. There’s some sort of issues with the waitresses here and they have the worst attitude towards other women. I haven’t been here in 6 months because the last two times I also had a bad attitude with the waitress, they roll their eyes, get mad if you ask to sit at a certain table (even if they’re all open). I’ve been living here for 4 years and I’ve never experienced such horrible attitude and it’s definitely made me never want to come here again. Stop catering to the tourists so much and have some appreciation for your locals. Because it’s not only me who has experienced it it’s been a bunch of us women. One of the girls who works their also bully’s some other girls I know outside of the restaurant. Fire them Cory. These are not the type of people you want to represent your restaurant.
EDIT: Oh yes, I’m sure your waitstaff is going to admit they’re rude. And I’m assuming you have a camera outside then where the entire issue happened? All I asked was how long a table would take inside and your staff rolled their eyes at me and told me I wasn’t allowed to sit inside. We had came to get away from the sun. We walk outside and sit at the big table in the shade, I was already feeling annoyed at this point as her attitude was horrible. We all sit, she comes out and gives us another dirty look (for why idk) and make us move to THE TABLE IN THE SUN. Our entire family. We ask her why we have to move in the sun as we didn’t want to sit in the sun and asked if we could stay seated where we all were. She then slams the menus on the table and starts YELLING at us in Spanish telling us to leave if we have a problem. This is when we all get up and walk out, I asked your waitress why are you being so rude?? This is when I get angry because I don’t think anyone should ever be treated that way. But I didn’t yell at anyone I simply left. this is NOT how you treat people. And to make it better I’ve had horrible treatment before as well. Like I’m here with my family do you really think I’m going to start off our lunch rude?? But I will not tolerate being treated like that, somewhere that I used to come to often. So sure go ahead and say all those things and lies. I know my experience and for you to come on here and belittle me and gaslight me into thinking I was in the wrong proves how little you care. I had 3 others with me who are witnesses as well, and they have no reason to lie. We were all shocked and disgusted at the behavior of your staff. ALSO, stay away from us. There’s no reason you should be trying to hunt us down in town to confront us for leaving a bad review. That’s...

Read moreThis place was a little disappointing… parts of the menu were unavailable (not just the fish), the service was poor and our food took over an hour to arrive (we timed it) and was cold despite the restaurant not seeming especially busy. We didn’t chase the food because no one in our section of the restaurant had received their orders either, and it felt difficult to get our server’s attention regardless. Even asking for the bill took a whole 20 minute affair of chasing our waitress, only for us to receive the wrong change - granted it was not by much at all (which the owner rightly points is no big deal at all, but had it been a more significant amount, the thought of having to wait around longer to receive it irritates me even writing this now). After the experience we had, it was hard to just shrug off when getting the right change is just bare minimum competence (whether it’s a penny difference or $5), but I understand it might sound dramatic. The tacos were ok, but at that price point, didn’t feel worth it given our experience. I wouldn’t come back, and I’m really quite baffled by the 4.9. I don’t usually leave lower than average reviews unless I think the number of stars are overinflated. It’s just my opinion and experience - nothing against the owners and business. The purpose of reviews are to help people make decisions based on averages of everyone’s experiences. If everyone could doctor 5 star reviews then there’d be no point of them at all. Everyone else seems to have a great experience, so maybe we were...
