This is the place to come for meals if you are staying nearby! Very friendly and attentive service, and our server had enough English-speaking ability to order and enjoy even if my Spanglish had been more lacking.

We came for dessert and breakfast. The decaf coffee was pretty great for decaf. The Tres Leches was delicious (and not completely soggy). Fresh-squeezed orange juice was tasty. The omelette was cooked perfectly and packed with veggies and ham. And my latte was fantastic!

We stopped here because we saw their selection of desserts and wanted to try several. While the Oreo cheesecake and carrot cake looked delicious, we were completely disappointed. Neither were very good and we felt like it wouldn't have mattered what we had ordered, our experience would have ended with the same disappointment. Our dissatisfaction was not a matter of personal preference, the desserts were just not good. They were not fresh, lacked flavor, and we're just generally bad. First time in this location, stranded in the hotel near by, walked in in the search for something to eat and was rewarded by fantastic frutti di mare pasta and a great tea, fantastic i really mean it. Swing by and try yourself, you will not regret it. Next day lunch time tried extraordinary sandwich prosciutto, avocado, green salad, cheese on rye toasted on both sides, excellent! If i will stay in the hotel near by on my next trip to CR it would be my only diner. Tomorrow i am going to explore breakfast...
