Amazing dining experience! This restaurant is removed just enough away from the center of the town that it is more quiet while having a great location right near the sea. Perfect place for anyone who wants to enjoy a good meal with a more quiet atmosphere (without crowds walking right past you and staring at your plate or people shouting on the street as they walk by). The customer service was great from when we walked in onward; if you're not sure what to get from the menu, they'll be more than happy to give you some recommendations. Food and drinks were tasty and prices reasonable.

Inspiriert von den überwiegend hervorragenden Bewertungen und anlässlich des Geburtstages meiner Frau, wollten wir (meine Frau, ich und zwei weitere Begleiter) unseren Besuch in CRES mit einem kulinarischen Highlight krönen! Das Positive vorab: Die Lage und das Ambiente ist wunderschön und auch das Personal war überwiegend sehr freundlich. Wir bestellten vier Vorspeisen und vier Hauptgänge. Das Thunfisch-Tatar war ausgezeichnet, wenn auch winzig - aber es wurde präsentiert, wie auf den Fotos beworben. Die "Fisch-Suppe" für € 8,-- ist eine Frechheit: eine klare Fettbrühe mit einer Miesmuschel und zwei winzigen Venusmuscheln - von "Fisch" keine Spur! Die Ravioli "mit Scampi und Jakobsmuschel" weckten große Erwartungen. Fehlanzeige! Jeder "Italiener" in unserer Heimat-Region bereitet diese besser zu. Gleiches gilt leider auch für die Steaks. Auf allen Fotos werden Rinder-Filet-Steaks gezeigt und dadurch auch suggeriert. Beide medium bestellten Steaks - waren nahezu durchgebratene und trockene Rumpsteaks! Ein absolutes NoGo! "Begleitet" wurde das Fleich von je einer "kleinfinger-großen" Baby-Karotte und ebensolcher Zucchini sowie angebratenen Kartoffeln - und wenigen "Tropfen" Braten-Jus. Dem "gegrillten Oktopus" fehlte jegliches Grill-Attribut und war eher nur gekocht und ausgesprochen fade - ebenfalls ohne jegliche Rafinesse und ohne Beilage. Auf ein Dessert haben wir und unsere Begleiter verzichtet. Fazit: Dieser Abend war einfach enttäuschend! Wir waren auf Cres in fünf verschiedenen Restaurants. Überall wurden wir sehr freundlich bedient und das Essen (Pizza/Miesmuscheln/Pasta/Cevapcici/Fleisch und Fisch) war durchweg gut und entsprach unseren Erwartungen. Diese wurden in diesem hochgelobten Restaurant - und bei einer Rechnung in Höhe von € 186,-- leider nicht annähernd erfüllt. Vielleicht war aber auch nur der Koch im Urlaub und wir hatten...
