Restoran PULJIZ — Restaurant in Grad Omiš

We arrived to this place with my boyfriend because others told us that it will be a delight. I wanted to give it a try because of the nice comments. Since i am here i'll give the seafood a go. That was a mistake. I like seafood and i do eat them quiet frequently so i do not possess a delicate stomach. Every fish that i tasted was bland and/or bitter. The only flavor i got was the lemon i squeezed onto them or the little salt i sprinkled onto it. even the spinach with the potatoes tasted bitter. i have to admit that i was stupid, because first, i did not complain then and there and second i did not swallow my financial mistake and just leave the food there. i was raised that wasting food is big bad so i wished that with every bite it will be better and i am at foul here. but it was not like that. i rushed my boyfriend to hurry up, i want to pay and just get going because i felt my stomach rumbling. it was an agonizing 20 minutes walk back home. if you know how it feels to run to the toilet and even 15 steps feels like an eternity then you know how much willpower this journey took. maybe i was the unlucky 1/10000 beacuse reading back these reviews i feel like i was gaslighted with my experience. the positive thing is that at least now i know how much i can push through just to reach a decent toilet and a glass of cold coke. i do not wish this upon my worst enemy. i do not recommend gambling with seafood because my experience...

Looking for a place for dinner was tricky as not quite in season yet, and we had vegan friends. After looking at a few menus at various restaurants, my friends compromised with ordering a margarita pizza .

I ordered a mushroom soup for a starter, which was fresh and delicious, and for main swordfish. My partner wanted the monkfish, but unfortunately, they were sold out, so I opted for the tempura prawns.

Our food arrived, and I was really impressed with the portion and tastiness of mine. My partners dish was also a good plateful and tasted fresh. The pizzas were served and looked immense. Unfortunately, there were a couple of flecks of tuna on one of the pizzas, which really upset my friend to a point she stopped eating and said the trust was not there to eat anymore. This was fed back at the end kindly to be careful with the vegetarian pizza. In the future , the rest was requested to be doggy bagged. Looking back at the situation, it should have been highlighted by us that it was important that it was a veggie made pizza and then fed it back sooner rather than later. It was totally ripped off and doesn’t worth for money but staffs are very nice and friendly and location itself is nice to drink a glass of wines however foods…. Mmmm I don’t feel it worths it at all. We have ordered two portions of grilled meat platter and the meat was soggy and shabby. Chicken was dry, ram was okay, pork was nice in the beginning until I bite the small tiny bones and beef was okay. When I felt and bite the tiny born from pork, def one of the staff was watching me but I could see that she went inside of restaurant and almost hiding from me.
