Short review: Not worth the money, almost every aspect is underwhelming.
Long review: Hotel stars needs to be adjusted this is no where near 3 star hotel. Value for money; non existent, there is no reason to pay that price for this experience, the see view was ok, but not special.
Location is inconvenient for Ubers and taxis because the entrance is not accessible by car and the driver has to drive to a dead end where the parking is. When I asked the staff what is the best way to move from the hotel to the center, they recommended Ubers. I discovered days later that public transport is available and there is a direct bus to the center, however that includes walking 15 minutes, which can be tough in the sun.
Breakfast: The general philosophy of the hotel is “we offer the cheap stuff in the buffet breakfast so people would buy the good products from the menu” this attitude made it one of the worst breakfast I’ve ever experienced. For example, the coffee machine works with instant coffee and coffee whitener. No real ingredients, while you can order an espresso based coffee from the menu. Every ingredient is of low quality, especially the cold cuts and cheese. They offer those fake powder juices in the buffet that are very diluted. However, you can pay 5€ for a freshly squeezed one.
Bathroom: tiny showers. Everything is a little roughed up and used a little too much. The sink water stopper doesn’t work. The toilet seat is not stable and slides.
The room: the room is not designed for a double bed but there is a double bed in there, with 2 single mattresses next to each other. So the charging port and light controls are on one side and the MIDDLE of the bed between the mattresses. Furthermore, the bed and the floor were squeaky and making noises from one person moving on it (60kg).
The window shaders are very overused and sometimes don’t work and you have to jiggle with it for some minutes or pull it from the outside yourself.
On the positive note. The staff were friendly, wooden floors in the room is nice. The atmosphere of the sitting area outside...
Read moreOrdered a room with "1 King size bed". When we arrived the room we recieved were very tiny, and had 2 single beds. After talking to the woman behind the desk, she apologized, and told us she would fix it. After waiting 15 minutes in the bar, she came back and told us that it was fixed. We were then led back to the same room, but with the 2 beds pushed together, with a tiny, useless, piece of foam in between... The foam did absolutely nothing good, and we were unable to sleep near the middle of the bed the entire stay. The power plugs that where once beside the beds, were now hidden behind the 2 beds pushed together. Making them unusable, so we couldnt charge our phone overnight. We tried talking to the staff, but they were certainly not helpfull. And could'nt do anything for us. There are not a single picture online of the 2 wooden beds, so we had no possible way of knowing what we were getting into. So we were VERY disappointed in having to pay full price, for an entire week, stuck with a bed like that. ESPECIALLY when the order said, word for word, "1 King Size Bed"... Other than that several things in the small room was broken. So overall, we had a terrible experience. Will encourage everyone to find someplace else to...
Read more*. It seems that the ‘Don’t Recommend button defaults to recommend *||||Unfortunately we can’t recommend this hotel, it was booked through a travel agency and the photos look good but on staying there it looks like they were photoshopped. The room was tiny with an even smaller open shower which flooded the whole bathroom. No bottled water, no English TV, supposed sea view was obstructed by bushes and derelict building, food menu advertised were only available for first day then when 3 Water Polo teams turned up a notice was put up that restaurant is only available for half board guests only. The room was not a superior standard and was at the front of the hotel and there was a lot of noise late into the night. The sink and shower had mould at the bottom. Hotel tried to charge us for a bar bill that was settled on the last evening. It’s ok for a transit hotel but not for a longer stay. Resort tax even though was shown on booking invoice as included had to be paid before we left(?). Hard to find if don’t know what you’re looking for as the ‘road’ leading to it is just a small tarmac led entrance. Long walk to town centre. We have traveled extensively and this hotel has a lot of improvements...
