Crumbl — Restaurant in Hawaii

While there were no lines when we walked in, I was really confused because there was a section of kiosks that made it seem like you can order through there but that wasn’t even functioning. Even in the store, there were at least 15 people in the back who were all having fun and it seemed to me that they weren’t doing their job. Their conversations were so loud that I had a difficult time understanding the person at the register. I don’t see the need in having more than 5 people at the store unless it’s a heavy duty day but there was simply nothing for them to do. On top of that, none of them wore masks. Maybe two or three but they were shouting and yelling while handling the foods that I ended up feeling very uncomfortable. I understand that the mandate is up, but when my food is being yelled on and touched multiple times, it didn’t sit right with me. The biggest problem was the amount of flies just flying around. I can’t believe the other reviews aren’t addressing this because almost all of the cookies that were out in the open were touched by those flies. There needs to be a plastic case to display the cookies as well since the flies were especially targeting that and it made them look very unappetizing. I was very uncertain about purchasing but i ended up buying one for the experience. I was really excited but never again will...

I love cookies. I make cookies. I have eaten cookies all of my life. These cookies are OVER-RATED and gimmicky. I ordered a 4 pack of cookies which included Milk Chocolate Chip, Lemon Cupcake, and Double Fudge Brownie.

The Choc Chip is their rock. It is on the menu all time. So it should be their best right? You decide!

OK for me......as a Grown Man......my warm Choc Chip Cookies.....have to be dipped in ice cold milk. After a dip, should still be crunchy outside.....gooey inside.....and have a rich buttery taste. These cookies are thick and puffy, and remind me of scones, or even cake-like. Taste was kind of bland.

Do not even get me started on the Lemon Cupcake. My opinion, if you are smothering or covering your cookies, it is because you have something to hide or you need a boost.

The Brownie cookie was practically raw inside, and I did not think that was good.

Now having said all of this, any fresh baked and warm cookie is still pretty good, but I do not see these guys lasting long with products like this. Smoke and mirrors can only do so much.

One day I should make my cookies, and give out free samples outside their store, just to compare lol. NO, I do not sell cookies, just doing at home as a hobby enthusiast. But I will say this, making something you love and passionate about, makes a big difference.

Anyway,...

We had heard so many good things about Crumbl from our coworkers so we decided to check them out. We walked in the store and there were about 6 or 7 ladies working. No one said a word to us. So we walked over to the computer screen to place our order ourselves. We still didn't know what we wanted so we walked up to the counter to look at the board and to look at the displayed items on the countertop. Still no one said a word to us. So we decided to turnaround and place our order on the computer screen ourselves. Another customer walked in the store and up to the counter and a young lady walked up to greet him and to take his order. Wow!!!!! When our order was ready, the same girl called our name, slid the box over to us and then just walked away. I have no idea what was going on. I must say..... this is my first experience being treated this way in Hawaii. No Aloha spirit toward us at this location.....just sad. I pray their day gets better so they can provide better customer service to other customers. On the other hand, the food is...
