Pho 97 One — Restaurant in Oʻahu

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ For years, we've been dining at Pho 97 One in Waimalu Shopping Center—usually once or twice a week. The food is consistently delicious, the portions are incredibly generous, and the prices are hard to beat.

What really keeps us coming back is the warm, friendly service. The owner’s family works there, and they treat every customer like part of their ohana.

My go-to order: the combination pho (medium), papaya salad, summer rolls, tapioca dessert, and iced coffee—always satisfying!

Even now that they’ve opened a location in Kapolei, we still happily drive from Pearl City to enjoy a comforting meal with family and friends....

Tried this spot for the first time and really liked it! I got the oxtail pho and my husband had the beef stew. The pho was super flavorful and came in a good-sized bowl. My husband said the stew was really tasty—meat was tender and the flavor was solid, not bland at all.

We also grabbed a strawberry smoothie (really good) and we had the Vietnamese coffee with condensed milk. It was pretty good, though we wouldn’t have minded a bit more condensed milk to sweeten it up.

I rarely leave negative reviews, but our experience at this pho place was disappointing. The customer service was terrible from the start. We were seated, but the staff seemed to completely ignore our table. It took a long time just to get someone to take our order, and even longer to flag someone down for the check. We had to wait an unreasonable amount of time to pay and leave and the whole time, the worker kept walking past us like we weren’t even there. It felt like our table was invisible. The food might be decent, but the service made the entire experience frustrating. Definitely not...
