Blue Song Restaurant — Restaurant in Lapta-Alsancak-Çamlıbel Belediyesi

So happy find, close to the beach and our hotel with the happiest staff ever, a comprehensive menu which lived up to the good within it. Our Meze cold starter was best I’ve ever had and my chicken and orange main and my husband Chinese beef strips were delicious. Amazing table on the decking over the sea too! Just had to update our review from last year as on a short break this month and twice returned to our favourite restaurant in Lapta which will always be The Blue Song, right next door to our also best hotel, The Manolya. With two seating levels inside and outside at Blue Song and offering stunning views over the sea, there is plenty of fabulous tables to enjoy but we do love its delightful lower decked area. There is an excellent children’s play area upstairs where parents can eat and keep an eye on them! But although child friendly there are plenty of places for romance and tables for two as well! They have a large car park but we are lucky to be able to stroll just two minutes from our hotel. Blue Song offer a very comprehensive menu, great service and delicious food! This time we had the same a last time on the first night which is in this review (Orange Chicken and Chinese Beef Chicken) and on the second occasion this week I chose the amazing Fish Florentine and my husband had Americano Chicken. Blue Song is always a restaurant we visit in each trip to northern Cyprus. A varied menu always caters for the party, with us having meals on this visit including chicken carbonara, chicken fajitas, steak, scampi and chicken shish. It's no longer the cheapest of places but at the higher end of what we'd class as a reasonable rate so still is still on our list of eateries. There is a carpark that is often full at the busier times so that can be fun to navigate, if you're not blocked in, but guess that shows the popularity! Beautiful Spot, Disappointing Meal

Blue Song has a stunning seaside view and a wonderful atmosphere, which is why it's been a long-time favorite of ours. We've recommended it to so many people over the years. Unfortunately, our most recent visit was a real letdown. While the ambiance and service were as lovely as always, the food quality has gone downhill. The meat in my mixed kebab was tough, chewy, and genuinely disappointing compared to what we've had here before. We really hope this was just an off-night for the kitchen because we love the location. For now, though, we're hesitant to return or...
