Gonia Toy Pepe (Η Γωνιά του Πεπέ) — Restaurant in Limassol Municipality

After a long day of traveling, sightseeing, etc. We wanted to find a local place with my girlfriend, something that is not the typic “tourist restaurant”. So I’ve found this place we walked there, someone from the staff was in front of the restaurant taking his brake and when we showed up he politely asked us if we would like to see the menu. We took a table for 2 and ordered a plate and some drinks. The service is amazing, by that i mean it is not a fancy fine dining stuff. It is realistic, nice, kind simple people wants you to have a good meal and enjoy your time there. And then the food arrived, first impression is the portion is for like 4 people. We couldn’t eat the half of it. But it was amazing, the vegetables, the tahini, the tzatziki, the 4-5 different kinds of meat. It was perfectly done, different flavors, different textures. I was so impressed. So overall the service is not perfect but its honest and kind and the human factor makes it perfect, the food is not some 2 Michelin star stuff, but it is fantastic and for this price and quality it’s unbelievable. I recently visited "Η Γωνιά του Πεπέ" in Limassol and would like to share my experience. The kebabs here are cooked quickly and taste delicious. The excellent flatbreads and fresh grilled vegetables were memorable, and the halloumi cheese was incredibly tasty! The service was prompt and attentive, adding to the pleasant experience.

Although the lamb kebab was a bit overdone, the pork and chicken kebabs were perfect and delighted with their flavor. A subtle smoky taste in the kebabs added a wonderful depth that enhanced the meal. I highly recommend this place to anyone who appreciates quality meat and a cozy atmosphere. Looking forward to my next visit to try more...

It's not even a question if the food is good or not. It's absolutely delicious. It's a sin not coming here, and trying out their meat. We ordered the ribs and the kebab, which came quickly, and each meal with chips. The chips melted like absolute butter in my mouth, and describing the food as delicious would be a criminal understatement. The ribs were fantastic, even perfect to say the least. Probably the best meat meal I've ever eaten. Rating: 5+/5
