Read moreMelissa I think is a bit overrated. Don’t get me wrong it’s not bad and I would come back to give them another shot, but it’s not great.
Atmosphere was great, with the soft Greek background music and the cozy tables at Heroon Square. It was nice.
Service wise, they need to hire more staff, as the place was packed and for the money you pay, you expect better service “existing staff was amazing, but not enough”.
Food was mediocre. Dips were pre-prepared on their little dishes and as result the texture was not great. Saganaki was too honey dipped, you barely understood the saltiness of the cheese. Salad had a weird dressing and feta cheese was not feta cheese, but just a white cheese. Meats were just ok, apart of the chicken which was on the spot. Pistachio dessert was just ok also.
Don’t get me wrong, if a table for 3 was like 80€ I would say this place was amazing. But when it comes out 140€ I have higher expectations. It’s a value for money thing.
Overall it was ok. Might give it a shot in a couple of months to see if...
Read moreWe saw several people talking about it online and thought we'd give it a go (even though we did read some reviews and weren't convinced). Food was very disappointing, sheftalia and kolokithokeftedes were badaly burnt, too much salt, kebab like rock, desserts not nice...Their bacon was good though. Have to say the atmosphere there is very nice, very nice decor too and the location is complimented by a nice breeze!
We also found a bug in the salad (at the bottom) was clearly marinated with sauce so it was clearly there from preparation but still didn't admit that it was their fault and told us it came through the air as we were sitting outside. They didn't charge for the salad, brought us another free salad and did give us some sweets on the house, so I do give that to them.
But what stays with us is their very disappointing food. Make sure to carefully read reviews and don't believe the so called...
