Caffè Nero Mall of Cyprus — Restaurant in Nicosia

Either you like, either you don't like Nero's coffee. I personally don't, unless it's in a coffee-based milky drink (such as their Salted Caramel Espresso Frappe Crème). I do like, though, their iced teas, and some of their snacks. The atmosphere is OK, although the fact that nowadays parking at the Mall of Cyprus isn't free is certainly a minus. However, the worst part is customer service. Way too many baristas-in-training, who don't know basic things of their business, resulting in long waiting queues. Today, kne of the thing the barista-in-training who served me wasn't aware is that their specialty drinks come only in large size (why?), and that their large drinks are served only in plastic glasses, cause they don't have large ones made out of glass (why?). When I pointed out that I've asked my drink in a real glass, the response came from the barista (manager? in charge?) that the barista-in-training didn't know about it, and he's now informing me. When I said she should have informed me before, or she should have asked me about the size, he became almost aggressive, took a negative/ absolute stance/ attitude, and he replied: I'm now informing you! Not a friendly customer...

First time here, isn't much to cheer about. It's a very busy place (a Saturday at the Mall!!!). Due to the huge glass walls, the coffee grinder noise and people normal talking are multiplied ten times. The two sliding doors leading to two outside areas are always in use, so the cold winter air comes inside. In the study/library room is cold. Tables are cleaned regularly, baristas are non-stop workers. Usual Nero coffee and all the rest, more pastry pieces than in any other location at 4pm. Toilets are bigger (and cleaner)! Edit: End of Nov 2024, it’s warm inside, some rugs, more homey, cakes are tastier( juicier), nice...

I’m working at the mall and lately im taking coffee from here . Well today i got laaate… there are always so many baristas in trainning 🥲 they we’re taking orders one by one😭 i waited almost 10min for 2 latte and the lady in my back got her coffee before me .
