TGI Fridays Cyprus - The Mall of Cyprus — Restaurant in Nicosia

It is a real pity that such a lovely place with tasty food and beautiful decoration is staffed by waiters that don't care and only 1-2 waitor/waitress are doing their job as they supposed to and they are running up and down in order to serve the whole restaurant because the majority of them just stand and talk to each other, even if the bell from the kitchen is repeatedly ringing and you may watch your order for 10 or more minutes just waiting on the kitchen's bench and getting colder and colder!! You may also repeatedly wave on them and they just turn the other side!! I have been there many times mainly for the food and every time its getting worse. At the end, I just stopped visiting for food (I cannot wait anymore for 45-50 minutes to eat!) and I am visiting only for deserts (yes I have watched even my double oreo maddness getting melted on the kitchen's bench, waiting for a waitor to go and bring it to me, it crossed my mind to go get it myself!) The HR department must wake up/be allerted! The 2 stars rating for service is for those waiters that...

We ordered a double burger and salmon this time after ordering beef ribs and pork ribs a few days back. I am astonished how low the quality has dropped. Beef Burger was not beef burger. It was squishy probably pumped with phosphates and/or starch. Same with salmon that felt chewy. These are clearly frozen level quality with minimal beef served as 100% beef burgers. If they are cutting down on basic ground beef which probably costs them 1 euro for 100% beef I can't imagine what else they are curring corners with to manage and price it at 19 euro! The beef ribs felt fake as well. Tasteless. A very small piece drowned in sauce that was inedible without it. Smelled weird inside as if not properly defrosted. Also long gone are the days you got a full rich rack of pork ribs as well. Now they are tiny with the shrimps being a small as breadcrumbs. Everything ofcourse drown in excessive sauce to mask the low quality of the food. This is sad. Never again. Another one bites the dust of shrinkflation.

TLDR; Overpriced frozen quasi-food...

I am a regular customer of TGI Friday, ordeing online and visiting the one located in Nicosia Mall. But today i decided to order from an app to pickup myself from the Mall of Cyprus. When i arrived and asked the host where to pickup the meal that i ordered online, he told me to wait outside and they will bring it (i know from other TGI Fridays when you do takeaway, the package is waiting for you at the bar section). I spent 40 minutes waiting, well other delivery men were picking up meals outside. Eventually, i heard a person say they came to pickup a meal for takeaway that he ordered, and the host said come inside towards the bar. I confronted him and explained again that i came for takeaway/pickup and have been waiting 40 minutes ignoring me. He responded with "i thought you was a delivery person, you can go inside". Not only did he discriminated me, but the food was cold until i got home.

I do not recommend Tgi Friday Mall of Cyprus, until they sort out thier staff and put a responsible person to greet...
