A €20 Disappointment: I’m honestly at a loss for words after tonight’s experience with Ocean Basket. My boyfriend ordered what was supposed to be a nice meal, paying a not-so-cheap €20 for something that turned out to be more tragic than anything else. And what did he get? A sad, bare-bones box filled with mostly potatoes and just four calamari rings. For the price, we expected something that would at least be satisfying, not an overpriced pile of carbs with a sprinkling of seafood.

The worst part? This isn’t some corner street stand; it’s Ocean Basket—a place that markets itself as a seafood restaurant. Poor food, the worst food we had in a Ocean basket branch. Our sushi looked like they had them in the fridge and like they put some in a plate, for sure they were not freshly done. My mussels were covered under a lot of cream sauce, which was reheated again, you could tell because in some parts the sauce was cold and it wasn't hot enough. The rice was overcooked and not as good as it was before. Also their rose ocean basket wine was very bad! Acidic, cheap wine, more red than rose. They could find much better rose wines to serve than this. Service wasn't the best, the inside restaurant looks cruded and not cosy.
