Such a shame.
Beautiful day, holiday, check Instagram for best breakfast, The Loop came up , everyone was looking forward to it. We got to the place, sat outside and the lovely lady greeted us offering a drink straight away. We ordered our food, everything came up pretty fast. All dishes looked great , few photos and we dug in. Everything was very tasty. A few bits and I see a dead fly in my omelet. Our waitress was not around so I called over someone else, quietly and politely so no other guests would know there was a problem . Pointed at the fly and said I would like to have a new omelet as there is fly in this one. And then it all started. No apologies, the lady seems to be very offended, raised her voice saying the fly must get into the food because we are sitting outside. I didn't want to cause the scene so just politely ask her again to get me a new dish. She then pulled the plate from the table so fast that the fork felt on the floor, while walking back towards the door she was still shouting that it's impossible as they have a fly trap in the kitchen. While waiting for the new dish I have checked the photo I took on the beginning and the fly was already there. Called our waitress over and I apologised, explaining that it's not an issue, I understand things happen but the way the other lady spokes to me was very unprofessional. The girl again was very polite and provided excellent customer service. Finally the food was brought over by the same lady who was trying to argue with me. I shall to her the photo with the dead fly. The reaction was mental. Instead of saying sorry she started to yell at me . Saying she is the owner of the place and her policy is that the customer is not always right. The way she spoke to me was very rude and unprofessional. Something that was a small issue became a scene and everyone around looked at our table at this point. I didn't want to eat it anymore and the rest of the table finished their food anyway I asked for the bill and again she dared to give me a lesson about what a waste of food is. She brought the bill over, my food was take off the bill and we were ready to pay but she didn't give up, continued to prove her rights. When I try to stop her as I had enough of being treated like a child she pull the bill from my hand, yelling that I don't need to pay and accusing me that I have made the story up just not to pay the bill. Unbelievable. As from owner of the business I would expect from her more professionalism . Her behaviour was pathetic. She should learn from the girl who served us. Shame on you lady. Your managing skills are on very low level. Although the food was nice I would not recommend this place to anyone....
Read moreThe food was great overallâeverything was freshly made and nicely presented. The shakshouka was oven-baked, but we didnât enjoy the taste as much. In our view, the sauce could benefit from being cooked separately first, then combined with the eggs, which need less time. The sauce didnât feel fully cooked to usâbut of course, thatâs just our personal preference.
We ordered the Loop Breakfast, Mexican Breakfast, yogurt with berries, kombucha, blueberry smoothie, Super Vision juice, and Cyprus coffee. All of it was fresh and flavorful.
The staff were as friendly as could be, especially considering how busy it was.
The kidsâ play corner is a great idea, but Iâd strongly recommend moving it to a safer spot. Right now, itâs in a passageway where staff are constantly walking through with trays. Itâs not ideal for the children or the team, who have to keep stepping over the areaâit seems like a hassle for everyone.
I personally loved the decor. I appreciated the real plants, as Iâm not a fan of artificial greenery. Upstairs was quieter and cozy, with a TV, childrenâs books, and cookbooks. The Greek/Cypriot style really shines throughâthe vintage photo of a woman on a bike in the bathroom and the big, colorful Greek painting were such charming touches.
We came on a very busy Sunday, but still had a great...

My recent visit to the Loop with my wife was nothing short of a disappointment.
Neglected from the Start: We sat down and waited for ten minutes, yet not a single staff member acknowledged us. Just as our patience was wearing thin, another couple arrived and were promptly handed menus. Seeing them receive immediate attention while we were ignored was incredibly frustrating.
Ineffective Management: Frustrated, I approached the staff, only to be met by a young girl who pretended she couldn't hear me. This level of poor management and lack of communication was the last straw.
Conclusion: We left without placing an order. This experience was disheartening, as we had high hopes for this café. Based on this visit, I cannot recommend [Café Name]. Their lack of customer service is simply...
