The Peyia Chippy — Restaurant in Peyia

We've been going to Peyia on holiday for years but had never tried the Peyia chippy as we so like our Greek food. Now retired we can spend more time in Cyprus so we went. We were not disappointed. The fish and chips were delicious. Would highly recommend. I like that they cater for you're size of appetite as in small medium and large fish. We went medium fish and one portion of chips and that was plenty for us. We have been twice so far, but will be visiting again. If you're in a hurry to can ring and book as everything if cooked from fresh. We live a 10 minute drive away and because it's cooked from fresh it's still pipping hot when...

I have to say with a heavy heart that last year this chippy was a lot better than this year('23). They must have changed their batter because it wasn't as nice as a year before. Everything was also very greasy. The fish is still very nice and cooked well but for some reason it isn't as crispy or less greasy than a year back. The staff is very helpful and friendly. They cook everything fresh and you can ring in with an order for a pick up. They do seem to cook one order at the time though, you might need to wait 10-30 mins if it's busy. Luckily there are tables and chairs plus some shops close by...
