Came to this restaurant seeing that it was busier then the next-door, so we thought the food was better... Boy I was wrong!!!! The order: I ordered 2 meze, one chicken breast with honey mustard and a kids chicken bites( nuggets in other words). The 1st part of the meze came within 15 minutes of ordering...thats the salad, pitta bread and the dips...chicken bites came straight after....The chicken bites is actually 5 frozen nuggets with a quarter of so called potato wedges...paid 7.50 for that...not worth even 4 euros..what a joke...at this point (30 minutes past) we still haven't received the grilled chicken. I had to remind the waiter to bring it..he said sorry I forgot it..where did he forget it? In the microwave??? Then the remaining food of the meze has arrived, dried up souvla and some other tasteless meat.. plus the famous boiled potato then fried to warm it up and served....Awful. Will not be coming here again. What I learned from this experience is that do not be deceived by a busy restaurant. Does not always mean the...
Read moreFood quality was great and it was the savior of the evening. And the laugh we had. Service and waiting time terrible long! I mean super long. Restaurant wasn’t busy (3 tables only). The longest I ever had waited in Cyprus. We were super hungry and waited 1,5 hour to get main dishes. Starters were not a huge amount, bread for 5 people we had to ask 3 times to refill as they brought out very little each time. Between each time asking it’s 15 min until 1 waiter remembered what he had to do. He’s super nice and suuuper slooow…. Salad was tasty but could be more for 5 people. The other funny part out of 5 dishes for 5 people, waiting time 1,5 hrs the waiter brought 1 portion less!)))) they were 1 portion short. Imagine our feelings. We had to share 2 mains for three people. So just remember food is good to great but service and time wise you should be a very patient person, not...
Read moreI have eaten here a few times now being local and took my uncle for a traditional dinner on his last night, which is what he wanted. We had halloumi, zucchini balls and calamari as starters. The presentation of what was a whole calamari cut in rings but still connected as a whole was unique and outstanding - all dishes I must say have an edge of excellent presentation. We then had beautifully marinaded chicken souvlaki with 2 portions of tender stifado which came with couscous whilst sat in the yard under the grape vine. Service was impeccable with the owner paying personal attention to us, great wine recommendation with a local xynisteri blended with Sauvignon. It was a perfect final meal before seeing my uncle off to Britain again and exactly why I’d choose the restaurant again for a high standard traditionally Cypriot...
