Ταβέρνα Μόσφιλος — Restaurant in Polis Chrysochous

We have been trying to book a table for our group of friends since yesterday. We made 8 calls but there was no response . My friend went there in person today to book a table. She said politely that we were trying to call and there was no response. The owner ‘Mosfilos’ reacted by saying ‘Good’. Then in shock my friend responded by asking for the phone number in case we had the wrong one. He reacted angrily saying ‘no Im not giving it to you!’. She left feeling angry without a booking.

Mr Mosfilos may be happy with his current earnings but it doesnst take long for a business to lose iys...

Delicious! We just arrived and were greatly in need of some decent quality local sustenance. Warm and welcoming hospitality with mouth watering Cypriot dishes the Mosfilos Taverna is a lovely place to rest and recoup ready for your further adventures. Lots of outside seating as well as inside if for some reason the weather is inclement. Alas! we were too tired from the days trekking to sit in so we got a take away. Very well presented and reasonably priced - I will be restocking on provisions here again....

If you want traditional Cypriot food, this is by far the best restaurant in the area. From the moment you sit down, you are transported into a time where life is laid back and simpler. We had salad to start with olives. Mains were home made ravioli and beef chop. Both cooked to perfection. The staff spoke English well enough to get by and were generous with drinks and deserts. All in all this is the most complete traditional restaurant that we've been in while visiting Polis and Latchi. Thank you....
